Peter Osalor, was born on the 11th of November 1955, and has a passion for taxation which has given him the opportunity to handle complex and multidimensional tax investigations in the UK and has earned him the confidence of the HM Revenue & Customs in the UK.

Education/Professional Qualification
Peter O. Osalor acquired his education in Nigeria and the United Kingdom (UK). He is a fellow member of Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (FCCA) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA). He also holds the Associate Membership of Taxation of Nigeria (ACIT) and also the Chartered Institute of Taxation in the UK. He has published various inspirational books and articles on business and entrepreneurship.

Experience as a Chartered Accountant and Tax Consultant
He qualified as a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser between 1983 and 1991. He worked with Darwood & Co a firm of Chartered Accountants in the West End of London and was promoted to practice manager in 1988 where he gained extensive experience in working with Blue chip Companies, PLCs, and Government Agencies. He is the proprietor of Peter Osalor & Co and manages a firm of accounting professionals who as a team has an in-depth experience in Auditing and Taxation.

He has over 15 years experience as an auditor and Chartered Tax Advisor. This experience has elevated him to the highest level in his profession and he now trains accountants and auditors in both the UK and Nigeria. He has developed software for taxes from every taxable adult, taxable business. It also facilitates the process of Filling Tax Returns for individual and companies.

Accounting Practice
Peter formed his own practice named Peter Osalor & Co in 1992, this practice has grown and to date can boast of a client base consisting of over 1000 clients consisting of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies of various sizes and turnovers ranging from the east end of London to the Financial City of London where he operates as a cutting edge in auditing, taxation and financial advice and counseling; and as a sole trader in both the UK and Nigeria.

On Small and Medium Enterprise (SMEs)
Mr Peter Osalor has passion for promoting and educating people on the need for the establishment of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). As part of his contribution towards assisting the Federal Government in propagating the establishment of SME’s in Nigeria, he runs a weekly 30 minute programme on television in Port Harcourt, Yenegoa, Warri, Asaba, and AIT Abuja. The programme titled “SUCCESS IN YOUR BUSINESS” Inspiring Entrepreneurial Revolution, teaches viewers on how to establish and manage SMEs. He also runs a TV programme on BEN TV in London tagged “GATEWAY TO INVESTMENT IN NIGERIA’.

The programme aims at attracting foreign investments to Nigeria.Mr. Peter Osalor has written over 6 books on Business and Entrepreneurial Development, he has published several articles on informal economies and the need for formalization. SIYB (NGO/Charity Organization)
He established SIYB, an acronym for “Success in Your Business” a registered Non Governmental and Charity Organization whose objective is the Eradication of Poverty and Birthing of Entrepreneurs. Cardinal among its preoccupation is to cultivate entrepreneurship spirit among Nigerians willing to tap from nature’s vast resources for their economic upliftment.

IT Training and Capacity Building
Peter Osalor & Co also offers IT training through its affiliated company POTEC both in the UK and Nigeria. The training centers work in conjunction with the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) in the training of youths in the Niger Delta region on Skill Acquisition. The practice also holds seminars and workshops as well as coordinating visits for Nigerian officials to the UK.

On Sub-National Debt Management. (DMO)
Peter’s professional and management capacity in providing public finance management advice has gained him ground in the Debt Management Office where he is now a DMO registered consultant on Sub-National Debt Management with competency in Public Debt Data Verification and Capacity Building in Public Finance Management.

Director, Mentor and Chairman
Peter Osalor is a multi-skilled director, chairman of trusts, proprietor and consultant. He currently mentors over 1000 SMEs in the UK and Nigeria. He is also a business mentor for Princess Trust in the UK. He is a member of the Inter Governmental Committee of ICAN and also a member of BCMC, which represents Black Church Membership of Christians whose responsibility is to ensure Black Christian businesses are not left out in the business opportunities arising from the 2012 Olympic games in London.
Peter Osalor is a senior director at East London ITEC and acts as a director (and chairman to some) to over 10 Companies and a Company Secretary to over 20 large companies.

Peter’s experience here in the UK has given him the lead and offered him the opportunity to work as a tax consultant to various local governments in Nigeria as well as training several Inland Revenue personnel in various states of the Federation. He was a Tax Consultant to Eleme Local Government Area in Rivers State where he trained the personnel whose responsibility is tax collection. He has been a consultant to Delta and Bayelsa State Government on Revenue Generation matters.

Peter Osalor the Entrepreneur
The man Peter is a highly motivated and visionary self-made entrepreneur. This is evident in the member of SME’s, which he has successfully midwifed and nurtured to maturity providing employment to more than 1000 Nigerians.
Aside from the accounts and audit experience, Peter has the necessary expertise to advise and negotiate at higher political and senior levels, both in Nigeria, the UK and Bulgaria.

Peter has a passion for writing books and has written books on Entrepreneural success. This is in line with his mission to ignite an entrepreneurial spirit in individuals so they can fulfil their potential. His passion for spreading the entrepreneurial spirit shines forth in all his undertakings as evidenced in the books that have been published. Other Interests
Peter is married with three grown children and grand child – two sons, a daughter and a grand daughter. His interests are widespread which includes football, golf. Lawn tennis and glouse politics.
